Antigénique négatif

Negatif pour le Covid.

And breathe... Another hurdle successfully negotiated. Alix and I had already done an Innova antigen test last night, and we each got a negative result. But there's always a chance of a false positive when the formal test was done this morning at 10:00.

So we were slightly apprehensive en route to Liddington to visit 'Racoo Screening'. The set up is basically two guys in a shipping container in a field. The set up didn't look too much like 'laboratory conditions' to me. OK, they wore masks and gloves, but who's to say they changed their gloves after each swab?

They said we could go after we handed the swabs back and that they would email the results. However, we decided to hang around and hear the results first hand. After ten minutes, the guy shouted the all clear. Super!

So, we are double vaxxed and antigénique négatif, and should now be able to get into France, with a declaration stating that we have no symptoms. And just as Boris has delayed lifting restrictions here in England for another four weeks during the start of summer...
